Vietnam-Based Coffee Sourcing Specialist

A sourcing partner in Vietnam, not just a supplier list.

I help international importers, roasters, distributors and F&B buyers find, vet and secure Vietnamese Robusta and green coffee — from the first conversation about your requirement to a container you can trust.

A bit about me

Based in Vietnam. Built for buyers who can’t afford a bad container.

On the ground in origin

I live and work inside Vietnam’s coffee regions. That means I see the lots before they’re offered, verify the suppliers who quote them, and follow the coffee through grading, packing and loading — not from a desk in another country.

The difference between a good Vietnamese origin and a bad one is almost always in the details: screen size, defect count, moisture, the way the offer was put together. My job is to hold those details to your spec.

How I work with buyers

You tell me what you’re trying to buy. I come back with verified offers matched to that requirement — not a generic price list. If a supplier can’t meet the spec, I say so before you commit.

Most of my clients stay past the first container. The relationship is the product: a dependable second origin, shipment after shipment, with someone you can actually reach.

Vietnamese Coffee Sourcing

The world’s largest Robusta origin, sourced properly.

Vietnam is the world’s second-largest coffee producer and its largest Robusta grower, with the bulk of production coming from the Central Highlands. It’s also an origin that’s easy to buy from badly — inconsistent specs, unclear grading, and offers that don’t hold up once the container is opened. My work is making sure that doesn’t happen to you.

Inquiry

You share origin, volume, spec and timeline. I respond personally and confirm what’s realistic.

02

Verified offers

I source against your requirement and send only offers I’ve checked against screen size, defects and moisture.

03

Pre-shipment check

Before anything moves, the lot is inspected and the spec is confirmed against your order.

04

30% advance

A 30% advance confirms the commercial order and allows preparation of the coffee.

05

70% before loading

The remaining 70% is paid once the coffee is ready and prior to container loading.

06

Shipment

The coffee is loaded and shipped from Vietnam according to the agreed terms.

Why Rohan

A sourcing partner who actually answers for the container.

On the ground, not on a call

I’m based inside the origin. I visit suppliers, inspect lots and verify grading in person — so the offer you get is backed by something real, not a forwarded email.

Independent, not a fixed book

I’m not pushing a set catalogue of suppliers. Sourcing is matched to your actual cup profile, volume and budget — including saying no to a supplier when the fit isn’t right.

Specs before samples

I won’t send you an offer I haven’t verified against your requirement — screen size, defect count, moisture and certification, checked before it reaches your inbox.

Built for the long relationship

Most buyers I work with stay past the first container. The goal is a dependable second origin — not a one-off transaction.

Who I Work With

Built for buyers who need an actual origin partner.

Green coffee importers

Adding Vietnam as a second or third origin alongside existing purchasing from Brazil, Colombia, or Indonesia.

Distributors & wholesalers

Building a repeatable, dependable supply line into a regional market, with consistent grading shipment to shipment.

F&B brands & café chains

Private-label and house-blend programs that need an origin partner they can rely on, not just a one-time quote.

Trading companies & agents

Needing an on-the-ground contact who can verify suppliers, inspect quality, and manage logistics before shipment.

Beyond Coffee

Additional Vietnamese sourcing capability.

Coffee is the focus. For clients already sourcing coffee through me who also need other Vietnamese agricultural exports, I can extend the same sourcing and verification process to a small set of spice products.
